We currently have 20 graduate students who are either already part of the doctoral program or are coming in this year (you can see a list of them and our faculty at their respective links). According to a recent national survey, published by TIP, of graduate students in I/O doctoral programs, The University of Memphis' IOA program ranked 15th in the nation. We are devoted to educating our students, as well as finding placements for them to gain actual IOA work experience while in school. Aside from our placements, our group is also noted for the approximate $2.6 million a year we receive from external funding. These grants involve research projects that provide enormous learning benefits for the students, opportunities to work closely with professors and research faculty, and produce fast data that we can then use to implement effective changes that benefit our community.
