• Interventions in collaboration with the Memphis Housing Authority and Fire Department to reduce the fire rate in the 20,000-resident public housing system.
• Development of programs to teach fire safety to preschool children.
• Development of a non-reading, picture test of fire safety knowledge for preschoolers.
• Work with the Memphis-Shelby County Juvenile Court to develop procedures to increase the rate of children being returned to their parents after foster care experiences.
• Work with the Memphis City School system to improve sex education programs and to increase parental involvement in the process.
• Work with the county basketball officials association, using role-play training of high school basketball officials to increase their competence in managing confrontations and improve officiating.
• Evaluations of environmental education programs for primary school children.
